made it a whole 3 months without posting a journal. almost 4. in short: things have changed, school's in swing, and that clock still isn't done. i've made progress, though. several boards are etched and waiting to be populated. still need to order a few more parts, though. feels like it's never going to get finished. maybe i should set up a blog or something.

made a potato cannon and shot some stuff out of it (potatoes, pinecones, paper, apples). good fun. thinking of making a six-shooter version. need to make some ice slugs and fire those off. need to figure out the range of the thing.

been listening to a lot of music, and growing my collection.

classes are a goddamn time vampire.
ergo, i haven't had a lot of time for stuff, both making/scanning things and actually getting around to posting them.

fall's kicking in with all its gloomy, chilly days and rain that could cut through you. or the days are sunny and the leaves are turning all sorts of colors and there's a little bit of a breeze. but either way i have to spend all damn day inside.

at least fall break is next week. this week may kill me, though. meh, we'll see. probably won't post anything fall break anyway.

i probably should make a halloween costume. not the guy-manuel de homem-christo one i'd like to do (i'd need more like years than weeks (and hundreds of dollars) to do it, go look him up on google images or something), but maybe i'll actually put something together. (also too little time for a half-ass portal gun or gravity gun/HEV suit)

sigh. another week. another month. it never ends. well... it will, eventually. only a matter of time.
